Pracite work for game oct/2009

At starting Unit 63 we were told where going create a flash game, at start it was hard i couldnt decide what to do i have lots of different ideas for game which were making my choice hard. As we had less time to create, i started rushing well this didn't help as it made it harder for me. As i started to come up with different game and had few games which i created but never got to complete full as i changed my idea for game.

Above is a button which i started creating using Photoshop for my gae which i had used simple tools and it also include effect to give it a 3D look to create this i had used simple square shape which i then added effects to using the fx. tool which gave me blending options

After i had created my button i thought of adding image between the buttons as it was to plan i chose a image of Sonic as i thought it would look nice instead of a plain button. I had created a layer in which i had pasted Sonic image which i then turned the capacity of the image so it blends with the button. I like this practice work as it gave me a great skill of editing and blending image.

Using the blending options i had fun which this image, i got this image from the Batman as i like Batman game and Joker is 1 of my favourite character in it and i found this image nice therfore i thought i will playabout with it using the new skill i learnt, blending images.

Moodboard

This is Moodborad which me and me team created to help us with thinking with better ideas for our logo. We had to cut from books and magazines to find a variety of logo and images, we did this to help us see which colour, text, font and shape stands out e.g. Rockstar this logo stands out even when the image is so small compared to others because the colours, font and shape is professionally and wisely done therefore has that look which is eye catchy. they used simple bright striking colours black, yellow and white this makes the text stand out more.

Using the ideas from the brainstorm we made a move on and started working on our own logo we had to work indivisually from here so we could come out with different ideas were at some point we could combine our ideas into 1 by voted on which will be our team final team logo.

Brainstorm

This is the brainstorm which me and my team created to help us pick our team name. In this we had to write down our team members names, we then had to brainstorm some ideas for the team logo and name. Things we brainstormed are team names, texts, colours, shapes, features. After brainstorming we was voting which idea would be best and we come with Visual Flare as our team name.

Moodboard

This is Visual Flare - Logo Moodboard which Me, Keiron, Scott, Dom and richard made using pictures from books, magazines and internet which which we had cut and glued onto the moodboard.

Caly animation
This is my animation which i have created using modelling clay which i then imported to flash and then edited and finally i have completed my animation video i also included audio and sound effects to the video.
